How To Join
MCMA membership is not mandatory. This means that
when you become a City of Modesto confidential or
management employee, you are not automatically a member
of MCMA.
In order to become a member, you must complete a
membership application and pay membership dues, which
are deducted each pay period from your paycheck.
The steps to MCMA membership are as follows:
- Obtain an Association application from the
website
documents page, or one of the board
members.
- Complete the application and give to any member
of the board for processing.
- The original application will be sent to payroll
and membership dues will be deducted from your next
paycheck.
- Membership dues are $16.92 per bi-weekly pay
period. $4.46 per pay period goes to the Association
general fund and $12.46 per pay period goes toward
the professional representation of the Association
and members.
